Piedmont Housing Alliance is seeking a Property Accountant to join our team, contributing to a successful and innovative non-profit organization with a mission to create housing opportunities and build community through education, lending, and development.
The Property Accountant maintains the accounting files, books and records for several multi-family properties that meet the affordable housing needs in our community. Responsibilities include: maintaining accounting files for low-income housing partnerships – accounting and property management software and hard copy systems; managing accounts payable and accounts receivable; tracking performance to budget and producing financial statements on a regular basis. Qualifications include: post-secondary education with a degree or concentration in Accounting, Business Management, or Business Administration, or similarly related field, at least two (2) years of related experience, or a combination of the above; strong computer skills including experience with accounting and property management software. Must be able to successfully pass all required background checks and other pre-employment screening. Compensation is based on experience and skills.
