First-time homebuyers can access reduced-rate mortgage funds and save thousands of dollars in interest, thanks to Piedmont Housing Alliance’s allocation of $1.75 million in special financing from Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA). Piedmont Housing Alliance helped more than 40 first-time homebuyers last year, and now first-time homebuyers have the opportunity to take advantage of this special allocation with VHDA lenders. Piedmont Housing Alliance specializes in affordable housing opportunities, including housing counseling, homebuyer education, and special down payment loans to make home ownership more affordable in this high-cost housing market.
