Down Payment Assistance Loans

I’d like to buy a home but I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to save for a down payment – what are my options?

I’m applying for a mortgage that doesn’t require a down payment but I might need help covering closing costs is this something Piedmont Housing Alliance can help with?

My friend bought a home and got money from Piedmont Housing – how do I get into that program?

Piedmont Housing Alliance administers funds that can be loaned for down payment and closing costs.  Most of the money we administer comes from outside sources and each source has its own unique set of guidelines for eligibility and terms.  If your household income is below 80% of the Area Median Income you might qualify however the only way to find out if you are eligible is by filling out our intake form and submitting it with the documents requested on the first page.  Income limits change each year in March.  Click here to read FAQs about our down payment and/or closing cost loan program.
