Recent Happenings at Woods Edge Apartments!

At Piedmont Housing Alliance, we believe that strong communities are built not only through affordable housing but also through genuine connection, shared experiences, and joy. This belief came to life in a big way recently at the Wood’s Edge Apartments, where our Resident Services team hosted a wreath making activity and the most well-attended resident cookout in the community’s history.

What started as a simple idea to bring neighbors together over good food and conversation quickly grew into a vibrant celebration of togetherness and belonging. Residents came out to connect with their neighbors, meet our staff, and enjoy a beautiful afternoon in community.

We were thrilled to welcome the largest turnout we’ve ever had at a resident cookout, a clear sign that our efforts to foster engagement and support are resonating. From long-time residents to new residents, the turnout reflected the growing sense of community at Wood’s Edge.

Our Resident Services team worked hard to make this event special. And the residents showed up with enthusiasm, smiles, and stories to share.

These kinds of moments matter. They remind us that housing is more than just a roof, it’s about creating spaces where people feel safe, connected, and empowered. Events like this cookout deepen the relationships that strengthen a community, and they give us hope for what’s possible when we invest in people as much as in places.
