Financial pressures on renters in the Charlottesville region are growing. Eviction filings have climbed steadily over the past two years and are now approaching pre-pandemic levels, with more than 139,000 cases filed in Virginia last year alone.
In our region, rising housing costs leave more than half of renters cost-burdened and vulnerable to displacement. Behind every statistic is a family doing their best to stay housed in a community they call home.
Between June 18 and 25, we invite you to help Piedmont Housing Alliance raise $75,000 to support eviction prevention and housing stabilization for individuals and families in our community.
Join us on June 25 from 5–7 PM at Ethos Wine and Tea for a special soirée marking the culmination of our Build the Future campaign. This gathering is an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and reflect on the meaningful impact Piedmont Housing Alliance is making in our community.

Blueprint Sponsor: $10,000
This level includes five soirée tickets, premium social media recognition, logo placement on all event materials, verbal acknowledgment during the program, and featured placement in follow up communications.
Framework Sponsor: $7,500
This level includes four soirée tickets, enhanced social media shout out, logo placement on printed and digital materials, and acknowledgment during the program.
Foundation Sponsor: $5,000
This level includes three soirée tickets, social media shout out, name or logo placement on event materials, and recognition in post event communications.
Cornerstone Sponsor: $1,500

Since August, our eviction prevention program has helped stabilize housing for 31 households at an average cost of just $1,200 per family, making it one of the most cost effective interventions in our region. Yet many families remain on our waitlist, each one hoping for support before they lose their home. This gap represents more than numbers. It represents children, elders, workers, and caregivers who deserve the chance to stay rooted in their community.

Every contribution strengthens our ability to respond quickly when a family is at risk of displacement and ensures more of our neighbors can remain safely housed.
