Self Education is a Must in Our Ongoing Fight Against Racism
On July 5, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of our racial equity lending library. The lending library is available to our staff and board and included 33 titles. We established the lending library a year ago as one step towards providing resources focused on our racial equity work.
A year later and we’ve had numerous staff, board, clients and residents read books from this list.
Of course there are many other books that could be added, but we feel this is a good starter list.
Aside from books, there are podcasts, videos, movies and documentaries to help increase your understanding and awareness as well.
