When Housing Stability Means Hope: Chavonne’s Story

But from the very first conversation, Housing Sustainability Case Manager Elizabeth Stark offered something Chavonne desperately needed: compassion. “She never judged me or criticized my situation. She simply listened,” Chavonne shared. That simple act of listening made a profound difference during an incredibly stressful time.

Today, she is also working with a financial advisor to strengthen her budgeting skills and build long-term financial stability.
