Introducing Kay Valley, Community Services Intern

We are happy to have Kay Valley as an addition to the Piedmont Housing Alliance team. Kay is a third-year student at the University of Virginia, studying Sociology with an emphasis on public health disciplines. She recently began working with Piedmont Housing Alliance as a Community Services Intern.

Kay has previously had the opportunity to work with individuals and families living in local affordable housing communities. She gained much of her experience in community management by volunteering at various UVA organizations. She also has experience as a therapeutic mentor and administrative intern. Kay was ready to find a position where she could directly advocate for and support Charlottesville’s community members.

Kay says that she is “super excited to be part of the Piedmont team.” She has already been able to speak to dozens of Piedmont’s community members – which is always a highlight of her week! Welcome to the team, Kay.
