Crozet Meadows and Meadowlands Residents Shop at The Green Olive Tree During Special Event

Residents from Crozet Meadows and the Meadowlands were treated to a special shopping trip at the Green Olive Tree.  They were invited to come and shop at the local thrift store one hour prior to normal business hours of 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.  People shopped for anything from clothes to shoes to household goods. Residents were permitted to fill a bag to take home for just $4.00 during the shopping event.  What a bargain!

The Green Olive Tree is a Christian thrift store located on Three Notched Road in Crozet.  The event was a joint effort coordinated between the local Catholic Church, The Green Olive Tree and Piedmont Housing Alliance.

Jackie Sill, property manager, said, “We had 7 residents show up. It was a great day!
