Residents at Piedmont Housing Alliance’s Scottsville School Apartments and Monticello Vista Apartments Celebrate the Holidays
Residents at both Scottsville School and Monticello Vista Apartments gathered to share some food, camaraderie, and holiday cheer this past December. On Tuesday, December 20th, residents at Scottsville School Apartments had lunch together, bringing potluck side dishes in addition to lunch provided for the more than 30 residents who attended. The residents enjoyed some music and after eating, they shared stories about some of their favorite Christmases from years past.
On December 22nd, 35-40 residents at Monticello Vista Apartments in Charlottesville served up a healthy lunch of chicken, baked beans, mashed potatoes, and green beans to celebrate Christmas. Derick Powe, maintenance technician at the property said, “Folks were very appreciative and the baked beans were really a hit!”
A fun time was had by all over the holidays!
