Meet Justin Pham, Darden Board Fellow

Justin Pham is serving a one-year term on the Piedmont Housing Alliance board through the Darden Board Fellow program. Justin is a full-time MBA student at The Darden School of Business at University of Virginia. He initially learned about Piedmont Housing through Darden’s chapter of Net Impact, a nonprofit membership organization for students and professionals interested in using business skills in support of social causes.

Through his work on the Piedmont Housing board, Justin hopes to gain further insights about non-profit leadership and, at the same time, contribute a different perspective to the board. Justin was specifically attracted to Piedmont Housing’s work for its action-oriented approach to economic empowerment for low-income community members.

Before enrolling at Darden, Justin helped lead corporate relations for the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a public policy research organization in Washington, DC. There, he managed a program that supported AEI’s outreach efforts to corporate supporters. Justin graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in a political science in 2012. He is originally from Portland, Oregon.
