Piedmont Housing Alliance Welcomes Melissa Yuille as Housing Counseling and Economic Empowerment Program Manager
Piedmont Housing Alliance is pleased to welcome Melissa Yuille as Housing Counseling and Economic Empowerment Program Manager. Melissa will lead our housing counseling program as Shelley Murphy will be retiring.
Prior to starting her role at Piedmont Housing Alliance, Melissa was the Director of Housing Counseling Services for Lynchburg Community Action Group for 18 years, managing housing counseling, transitional housing, emergency assistance, VIDA, foreclosure, home ownership, and financial literacy programs. She has held leadership positions with the Virginia Association of Housing Counselors and is a certified comprehensive housing counselor, financial fitness instructor, post-purchase counselor, foreclosure counselor, housing counseling manager, USDA 502 loan packager, and VHDA Homeownership Education trainer.
Melissa is excited to be working her new job with Piedmont Housing Alliance and bringing new ideas to our programming as well as exploring her new home here in Charlottesville. Melissa is also pursuing an MBA in Human Resources management.
