Welcome to Lyndy Meister, New Housing Counselor
Lyndy Meister joins Piedmont Housing Alliance as a new housing counselor.
Lyndy’s specific role will be conducting homebuyer education workshops, housing counseling (including pre-purchase, rental, and default foreclosure) and credit counseling services. Lyndy comes to us with seven years’ experience working in case management and housing support with the International Rescue Committee. Lyndy is originally from Massachusetts and attended the University of Vermont earning her degree in Human Development and Family Studies. After college, she spent a year participating in AmeriCorps in Chicago and then moved to Virginia after her parents relocated here. Lyndy is proud to have recently built her own home with her dad, a carpenter, and her family, and admits she has always been interested in housing. Lyndy looks forward to supporting our clients and their families as they work on their own housing and financial goals.
She is a great new addition to our housing counseling team, working with Shelley and Virginia.
A warm welcome to Lyndy!
