Welcome to Michelle Tanner, Housing Counselor with Piedmont Housing Alliance

Michelle Tanner recently joined Piedmont Housing Alliance as a Housing Counselor. Piedmont Housing Alliance is a HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agency with a team of certified housing counselors and financial coaches. Michelle’s role includes providing housing counseling services (pre-purchase, rental, and default/foreclosure), financial and credit counseling services, and homebuyer and financial education workshops.  She comes to us with more than six years of experience serving the community in a variety of roles, including Self-Sufficiency Specialist with Charlottesville Department of Social Services, Options Counselor with JABA, and Family Services Specialist with Fluvanna County Social Services.

Michelle is from Fluvanna County and enjoys gardening and spending time with family.  She is looking forward to learning and sharing her knowledge in support of our clients and their families as they work on their own housing and financial goals.
