Piedmont Housing is excited to be part of a new partnership with the City of Charlottesville and AHIP to provide opportunities for home ownership and home repairs in Charlottesville.

The city has allocated targeted money to promote increased home ownership in the Orangedale-Prospect Avenue area within the Ridge Street Neighborhood.  There are many great home owners already, and this would help five new families with down payment and home repair assistance.

As you can see in this story on the Newsplex, Piedmont Housing is reaching out to the neighborhood with information.  The last information session is on July 18.  Following that are free classes for those who want to get their financial house in order on the way to home ownership.  Visit our calendar to see the classes offered at the Greenstone at 5th Community Center and sign up.  You’ll be glad you did.
