Girls on the Run, a bit warmer this time

The Friendship Court Girls on the Run team returned to Sweet Briar College last Saturday, May 2, to run the 5K race that comes at the end of each semester.  As you can see from the picture, the weather was more hospitable, in the 60s instead of the 20 degree, blustery weather that they faced in November.

Aniya was running as number 1–but so were all of the other girls who ran.  It’s another message about the fact that in the GOTR program and in the sport of running, everyone is a winner because everyone makes the effort.
