Piedmont Housing Alliance has received a $5,000 donation from Fulton Mortgage Company of Charlottesville. The funds will support the organization’s free home buying, counseling, and financial services for qualifying low- and moderate-income families.

“Fulton Mortgage Company is dedicated to providing exceptional service and a surprise-free mortgage process for our customers,” said Julia Morris, Fulton Mortgage loan officer. “We are here to serve the community, and we have exceptional first-time homebuyer programs, including our own down payment assistance that can be used along with Piedmont Housing Alliance’s services and products to help ensure home ownership is an option for everyone.” said Morris.

“This is a brand new partnership for us and one with exciting benefits for the home buying community,” said Karen Reifenberger, chief operating officer at Piedmont Housing Alliance. “This month, a single mother and her two children will move into their new home after a struggle that two years ago seemed nearly impossible. Because of our alliance with Fulton Bank, this family has been able to realize their dream of home ownership.”
