Welcome to Two New Team Members: Claudette and Betsy

Claudette Grant joins Piedmont Housing Alliance as Community Organizer at Friendship Court. Claudette has nearly thirty years of Claudette Grantexperience working in housing, neighborhoods, and community development. She has held the position of Senior Planner with both Albemarle County and the City of Charlottesville, as well as positions of housing counselor, loan assistant, and multifamily housing representative with Housing Opportunities Made Equal and HUD. Claudette earned her Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Connecticut and her Master of Planning with a concentration in Urban Development from the University of Virginia.

 

Betsy Lawson joins Piedmont Housing Alliance as Project Manager, following seven years as Project Manager and Business Analyst with image004 (1)the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and previous positions with the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources. Betsy earned her Master of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia School of Architecture in 2007.
