Welcome to Beth Kennan, Project Manager
Beth Kennan is Piedmont Housing Alliance’s new project manager who joins us with 10 years of experience in real estate development and project management in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. Beth’s specific role will be project management for the redevelopment of Friendship Court. Charlottesville is home for Beth, where she grew up and attended Albemarle County public schools before attending Hollins University where she received her bachelor’s degree. Then, she worked for a real estate developer in Washington, DC on a large, mixed-use development project. Beth also attended graduate school in the evenings to eventually receive her master’s degree in Real Estate from Georgetown University. As Beth is moving to Charlottesville from Richmond, VA, she has noticed quickly that there is definitely a need for more affordable housing in the area and is looking forward to help advocate for that.
Beth says, “I’m excited to be able to get involved in a project that truly is going to make a positive difference in the area and to be able to be helpful to the current residents of Friendship Court.”
We too are very glad she’s joining us for this exciting project!
