Compliance Specialist Added to the Alliance Management Team
Piedmont Housing Alliance announced today the addition of a Compliance Specialist to the Alliance Management team. While the position is a new one for the organization, the person assigned to it is not. Angela Prueher has been an outstanding member of the team as Property Manager for Crozet Meadows and The Meadowlands for the past five months. She brings more than ten years of experience managing communities with tax credit financing for a large affordable housing property management company, and is a certified Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM = a certification developed by the National Affordable Housing Management Association especially for management professionals involved with properties developed and operated under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program).
The function of the Compliance Specialist is to support the successful operation of the portfolio of affordable housing communities owned and managed by Piedmont Housing Alliance’s Alliance Management by ensuring compliance with up-to-date internal policies/procedures and subsidy-specific regulations and guidelines. Currently, our portfolio includes nine properties with 358 apartment homes. The Compliance Specialist position will facilitate positive resident experiences and consistent subsidy program compliance as we continue to grow our portfolio of high-quality affordable housing.
